VW Polo Timeless 50
We worked with Tribal DDB to support an online promotional campaign for the Volkswagen Polo called the Timeless 50.
The idea was for members of the public to vote on and decide 50 Timeless items in the areas of music, design, food, fashion and TV. To generate more interest in the Timeless 50 we commissioned freelance journalists to create editorial content around each item, created a Twitter, Flickr and Facebook satellite strategy to take content to those communities and researched and engaged influential culture bloggers to help spread word about the competition.
By creating a large amount of social content, all tagged and directed to the Volkswagen Timeless 50 site we can good organic search discovery for the Timeless 50. The bloggers who wrote about the Timeless 50 appreciated being told about content that was specific to their own interests.
